Inspection Report

Who inspects us?

NIS or NABSS (the National Association of British Schools in Spain). Accreditation by NABSS or another similar body is compulsory for a school to operate here.

NABSS and the British Council guarantee families that authorised schools provide a formal British education, and that the qualifications awarded are valid in the UK.

Our last inspection was in November 2024.

About our headteacher, Audrey

‘’The headteacher is passionate about her role and leads with high aspirations for the school, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to its continuous growth and improvement. Through her dynamic leadership, she cultivates a positive and inclusive environment where the entire school community feels valued and motivated to strive for excellence.’’

About Saplings (our 3-5 year olds)

‘’In the early years, the planning of topic-based activities is well thought out, providing ample opportunities for both child-initiated play and structured learning within the classroom and in the outdoor settings. The lessons conducted are highly engaging, fostering an environment where children not only actively participate but also achieve an impressive command of the English language. This combination contributes to a highly enriching learning experience for the children.’’

About primary & secondary

‘’Primary and secondary pupils are presented with challenging and engaging learning experiences through effective questioning and well-planned activities that allow them to demonstrate their knowledge and build upon it.’’

‘’Across the school, teacher-pupil relationships are positive, fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Pupils demonstrate excellent attitudes towards learning, contributing to a culture of mutual respect and academic engagement.’’

About the teaching team

‘’The staff happy and very enthusiastic and enjoy a supportive relationship with the leadership team, and there is a sense of professional camaraderie and solidarity that permeates the school’s atmosphere.’’

“A secondary school pupil said that everyone is kind to each other and that the teachers really care about them.

About our exam results at age 16
